Holly Godfree, Teacher Librarian, Coordinator Of Students Need School Libraries Campaign, Lake Tuggeranong College

Holly Godfree 'slid' into a school library in 2006 and was awarded the 2019 Australian Teacher Librarian Award by the Australian School Library Association.  Holly is active in local and national efforts to advocate for improvements in school library resourcing. She has published articles in ACCESS, SCAN, FYI, Public Education Voice, ACT Educator and The Canberra Times.  She is the coordinator of the national Students Need School Libraries campaign, a casual academic at Charles Sturt University and has taught in primary and senior secondary schools for 20 years.
