Owen Pierce, Program Director, National Workforce Development, AustCyber

Owen Pierce is the Program Director for National Workforce Development at AustCyber. He is also the national chair of the TAFECyber Strategy Group and PwC Skills for Australia ICT Industry Reference Committee member.
Previously, Owen was Manager for International Partnerships at the Australian National University (ANU). He came to the ANU from RMIT University in Melbourne where he held a variety of positions in Global Performance and Strategy and International Relations. 
Owen is passionate about workforce development and is committed to applying his skills, knowledge and experience to ensuring that Australia's future workforce develops the cyber security literacy and specialist skills to thrive in the digital age.  
Owen holds a Master in International Relations from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor in International Studies from Deakin University.
