Janine Mcintosh, Schools Program Manager, Amsi

Janine McIntosh manages the Schools division of the Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute. Janine leads a professional development and schools visit program for teachers across the country. Through clusters of schools supported by industry and government partners, Janine’s aim is to encourage more Australians to enjoy and study mathematics. CHOOSEMATHS is our major project, working with the BHP Foundation, designed to encourage more students, particularly girls and young women to stick with mathematics. Janine is an experienced primary teacher, mathematics educator and project manager.
