Glenn Carmichael, Teacher Of Mathematics And Science, St Michael's Collegiate

Glenn Carmichael is secondary school Mathematics and Science teacher who has been working in the field of STEM education and curriculum development for the past six years.  He has developed several educational resources aimed at engaging students in STEM and teaching them to create their own technology.  These resources have been used around the world and downloaded over 11,000 times in the last year.  He was awarded the role of Apple Distinguished Educator in 2017 for his educational programs which teach students how to code and create their own app.  He is passionate about inspiring students to move beyond being consumers of technology to being creative and innovative learners in the 21st century context.
