Felicia Druce, Teacher, Queensland Children’s Hospital School

Felicia Druce is currently the STEM Coach and Technology Coordinator at the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital (LCCH) School in Brisbane. Felicia is an Experienced Senior Teacher and has taught in a variety of Prep to Year 12 schools throughout Queensland. Felicia has previously been awarded a Peter Doherty Award for Excellence in Science and Science Education for her work in integrating technology into the science curriculum. Currently her role at the LCCH School comprises developing transdisciplinary units in STEM education, presenting robotics workshops to the cluster, coaching teaching staff in technologies with a focus on robotics and modelling explicit STEM lessons to students throughout the school’s different campuses, inpatient units and classrooms.
