Evan Savage | Principal
Armstrong Creek School

Evan Savage, Principal, Armstrong Creek School

Having worked in Education for nearly 20 years, with a strong background in teaching, leading and supporting students with disabilities in both Mainstream and Special Education settings, Evan is now responsible for leading Victoria’s flagship school for Inclusive Education.
Opening in 2018, Armstrong Creek School combines both Mainstream Primary and Special Education provisions in an authentically Inclusive  learning environment which is built on the philosophy that schools cannot be a ‘one size fits all’ proposition. Rather, schools need to be adaptive, responsive and innovative in how they respond to the huge range of diversity that exits in our world.
Evan is currently a member of the Department of Education - Inclusive Education Expert Panel and has contributed to a recent review in Victoria of how schools can best support students with special needs.
