David Cramb, Principal, Woongoolba State School

David has over 25 years of experience as a teacher, deputy principal and principal. Due to his work in areas of student support, leadership and engagement, his school has been recognized by ACARA for having substantially above average gains (2015-2017), State Schools Queensland (Showcase Regional Commendation 2018, Regional Awards: 2012, 2013), Showcase State Finalist (2013), Life Education Queensland (Children's Day School Award 2012) and Kids Matter Australia. David argues that establishing a personalized learning approach in a supportive, stimulating and interactive learning space coupled with a knowledge of a student's learning style, personality traits and ability will create the appropriate conditions for an engaged learner.
