Catherine Green is the Deputy Head of Primary at St Andrew’s Anglican College, which is located at Sunshine Coast, in Queensland. Catherine has over thirty years of experience in Primary Schools and she has also held positions as a Head of Primary, she has worked in a curriculum role and also as a classroom teacher in Queensland and in England. As an experienced early childhood educator, during the last seven years at St Andrew’s, part of her focus has been on pedagogy and supporting teachers to enact change.
The Walker Learning journey began for St. Andrew’s more than five years ago after the leadership team visited many schools and explored a range of pedagogical approaches with an aim to improve student engagement, creativity, personalized learning and an ability for children to problem solve. St. Andrew’s now has a large number of Walker Learning accredited teachers and enjoys hosting study tours and providing opportunities to share our journey with others.
