Following a career in the IT industry as a Product Engineer and Project Manager, Bronwyn became a Secondary School Mathematics and Information Technology teacher. She has a keen interest in emerging technologies, their industrial and commercial applications and associated educational implications. Bronwyn has provided pre-service teacher training in Learning Design specifically related to the integration of technology at the Australian Catholic University and Macquarie University and has mentored students at Sydney University’s National Computer Science School. She has been an active member of several community organisations that encourage and support student and teacher engagement with digital technologies, including the global Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality Association. Bronwyn has held the position of Director for the NSW ICT Educators association and the State Chair of RoboCupJunior NSW. As a frequent judge of the state and national Young ICT Explorers and Tournament of Minds competitions she is always impressed by how rewarding these opportunities are for all involved. In her current role as ICT Integrator, Bronwyn’s mission is to help increase the confidence and capacity of teachers to discerningly choose and efficiently use technology in the classroom.
